Annette O'Toole grew up in the Houston dance studio, which was managed by the mother of her. In her toddler years her appearance on television for the first time around two. The mother of her daughter, who had ten years worth of singing and dancing classes under her belt, went to Los Angeles for an entire year when she was 13 to determine the possibility of being successful in the showbiz. She was also in Hawaii Five-O, The Mod Squad, The Partridge Family. O'Toole is a regular on more than 40 TV shows. In spite of her success in films and TV she is a theater enthusiast. After her run of six years on Smallville ended, she would focus on acting exclusively. This is exactly what she's been doing since the beginning of this decade. She made the trip to New York and her first audition landed her selected for The Sea Gull. She's been in numerous off-Broadway musicals, like Adam Rapp's Kindness and Tracy Letts' Man from Nebraska.
