Ally Sheedy Bio
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor from the United States. In 1983, she made her debut as a character in Bad Boys. Later she joined the Bratpack group and was also a part of WarGames The Breakfast Club Short Circuit. Sheedy was awarded the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actor for her performance as Lisa Cholodenko in High Art. Sheedy was married to David Lansbury married on April 12 the 12th of April, 1992. David Lansbury was the brother of Edgar Lansbury's producer Godspell, as well as the nephew of actress Angela Lansbury. They have one son Beckett who was born in 1994. Sheedy claims to have learned much from Beckett's transition. Alexandra Elizabeth Ally Sheedy, born June 13th 1962 in the city of New York, is an American film and stage actor. She has also written two books. She's best known for playing the role of Bratpack in films The Breakfast Club and St. Elmo's Fire. The Breakfast Club by John Hughes: Why? The movie's title "The Breakfast Club" is actually a term that is used in some schools for detention. Presumably, students would be getting up early for the time of breakfast. They are the Next Generation. Sheedy now has "teacher' added to her impressive resume. Sheedy is a professor of acting classes in New York City at City College.
